Each Sunday at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are a small church that believes in a Big God that is able to do more than we can ask or think. One of the first things you will probably notice when you come for service is that we are incredibly excited  about what jesus did for us on calvary’s cross and we believe in giving him exuburant praises as we worship him. By God’s grace, our church is Open To people from all different ethnic backgrounds.

Our services are fairly simple. We worship together with singing, and By imparting a relevant sermon from God’s Word.

Our Worship Ministry is unique because God has blessed us with several incredible worship leaders.

Our sermons are topical, extremely practical, and scripturally based. Our goal is to take the text, explain what it means, tie it to other scriptures so people can see the whole picture a little better, and apply it to their lives so it heals, instructs, and edifies.

We look forward to worshipping with you.  if you let us know you are coming, we will save a seat especially for you.

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business attire, to formal church attire at our Sunday Services. We encourage you to wear what is comfortable for you, because New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ is not about what you look like or what you wear.

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you into giving money or Pressure You into Becoming A Member. We know that many people want to check out A church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. We will warn you, if you stick around after service, you will meet some of the greatest followers of Jesus christ and some of the most amazing people you could ever hope to meet!

We also want to give you a free gift, so simply complete the connection card provided to you by one of our greeters or ushers and return it to them or any member at the end of service.  We have something special to send you which is our way of saying thank you for coming.

Our goal at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ is to provide a safe environment for children from nursery age up to eighth grade to receive the life changing message of Jesus Christ in a relevant, creative, and engaging manner.

Children’s Sunday School: Our children have their own Sunday School class geared specifically for their age at 10:00am.  in their sunday school class, they learn the truth of God’s Word through our wonderful sunday school teachers. save some time on the day you arrive and call us beforehand at 281.886.6509 and let us know your child is coming to sunday school.  we want to have a special gift just for them. 

In addition to our Sunday School and sunday morning worship, we strongly encourage everyone to be involved in our midweek services via zoom or facebook.

Being involved in these services enables you to ask questions and go deeper in your knowledge of God and the Bible.
